Pools!
May 11, 2016
It’s almost summer…and I know what you’re thinking…WHAT are we going to do all summer?! There’s only so much day tripping you can do before you’re ready to just lounge a bit. And the kids get bored in 1.7 seconds so a pool is required to survive the summer…am I right?!

Lucky for us my mother in law has a pool, so we are set. We also mooch off some friends from time to time and are able to enjoy some of the areas’ country club pools. As much as I love having a private pool to enjoy all to ourselves, sometimes the kids want to meet friends or just make new friends in a more public setting. Sometimes the drive to Southern Pines (SO FAR, haha) is long and I’d love to be able to just go to a pool in the neighborhood. I’ve argued my case each year to no avail, and since it’s not going to happen for us I figured I would share the info I have gathered on local pools here. At least someone can benefit from the information and maybe join for the summer.
